Growing from concrete

They
Asked
Me….

“What
am I
doing
Here?”

I Sprung
From a
Patch of
Hard earth.

How did
a Beautiful
Thing Grow
in Materials

So Coarse &
Unforgiving.

I Bloom
For you in
My Body.

—-

After many
Stages
Of Growth,

My petals,

[Blossom

From

Modified
Leaves]

Encase
Brightly
Colored
Shades
Of Blush.

I curl
My petals
For you;

Blooming
Towards
Your sun.

I have
Swayed
In place
To learn

My own
Botany
Of future
Sight.

Like leaves
In the rain,

The cards

Spill all
Your
Secrets.

They drip out
Under mynd
Eyes, locked
Down asleep.

—-

I Bloomed from
Composites
Of A Life time.

A hard
Matrix,

Aggregating,
A fluid slurry,

Bonding us—
——Together.
